Robi expands at fast pace

Late in 2009 and early in 2010, Robi has grown exceptionally rapidly. The Robi product portfolio has expanded with many new product groups and at the same time, many new distributors in various countries have been searched to start selling Robi products. Robi’s development to the position of one of leading global manufacturers has started in a serious way.

Bauma, the world’s largest exhibition held in Munich, Germany in April 2010 marked the genuine international launch for Robi. On its stand Robi presented master samples of all the product groups and moved to a higher category amongst the international competition. Now Robi is taken seriously by customers as well as by rivals.

Simultaneously, Robi has taken further steps to improve its corporate identity, marketing and marketing communications. Ramtec, the original company name, has been set aside and instead, the whole image is geared around the brand name Robi. New distributors will add increased sales and in marketing communications, Robi has started actively to utilize trade magazines, both international and national. Furthermore, Robi’s home pages have been renewed to reflect the more dynamic identity.

Enlarging the distributor net

Robi has expanded the distributor network strongly. More recently, many partners contacted Robi at the Bauma exhibition and wanted to start selling the products of the new international manufacturer.

For the time being Robi has got distributors in following countries: Sweden, Norway, Estonia, the Netherlands, Russia, Ukraine, Poland, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Australia and New Zealand. Negotiations for further distributorships, particularly in many European countries are underway. At Bauma, Robi sold equipment to the Unites States of America, so it is natural that a distributor or many distributors will be found there, too.

Enlarging the product ranges

During the past few months Robi has enlarged the product portfolio to cover almost all attachments needed in demolition and in handling demolition debris. The product ranges are the following:

World-class manufacturer

Robi’s objective is to become a world-class respected manufacturer. There are tens of attachment manufacturers in the world but it is not a concern to Robi. Amongst the many manufacturers there are only a few that operate truly internationally and this is the group where Robi aims to belong.
